Operating Instructions
Put the non-oxidizing bactericides into the dosing bucket, and the customer can also dilute them with water according to the actual situation. Then, add the agent in front of the security filter with a metering pump. Dosing can be done in two ways: continuous online dosing and online impact dosing.
Online continuous dosing: Injecting the chemical continuously in front of the security filter, using a concentration of 2.0~10.0 ppm to control the breeding of bacteria, which is mainly suitable for the case of more microorganisms.
Online shock dosing: Injected before the security filter or ultrafiltration system, the initial dose should be large, 100~300 ppm (depending on the product), until the apparent control effect is achieved. The impact dosing time is 30~60 minutes/time, the number of times is determined according to the system contamination, and the customer can also approach the specific dose with EcoLan technical staff.
System Maintenance Sterilization: Prepare a non-oxidizing bactericide at 200~500 ppm (depending on the product) into a biocide solution, hit the system with a cleaning pump, soak for 60~90 minutes, and then rinse with RO product water for 15 minutes to remove more than 99% of microorganisms.
Note that before soaking the RO membrane with a non-oxidizing bactericide, the membrane should be acid washed to remove any metal hydroxides that may be present on the membrane surface. After soaking, the organism’s carcass and organic residue should be removed with an alkaline wash.
