A suitable pretreatment process is the most critical solution to the pollution of particulate matter, colloid, and suspended matter that blocks the flow channel of membrane elements. Adding a flocculant will be an indispensable part of the pretreatment process. EcoLan GPF series flocculant is a high-efficiency pretreatment synergist, which can destabilize, coalesce and settle organic colloids, inorganic particles, and organic solvents through substantial electrical neutralization and bridging, and also has certain decolorization, sterilization, and algae removal effects. It is usually added before the multi-media filter to help improve the removal of organic colloids, inorganic particles, organic solvents, etc., and significantly reduce the phenomenon of pollutant fouling on the surface of the membrane.

Operating Instructions
The standard solution will be formulated into 4% concentration (4kg standard solution + 96kg water) and then added. If there is a small amount of sedimentation, shaking well will not affect the product’s performance. Generally, the dosage is 0.5~10ppm (standard solution). When the water quality is good (tap water, clean surface water, etc.), the dosage is 0.5~2 ppm. Too low or too high a dosage is unfavorable for the flocculation process, so we should reduce the dosage as much as possible to ensure the flocculation effect and should determine the specific dosage after a small trial. The dosage point should be far from the filter inlet, and the injection point should be in the center of the water flow pipe to ensure the uniform mixing of the solution when the water is turbulent.
