Product Profile
The EcoLan flat sheet membrane module comprises a membrane box and an aeration box. The membrane box includes membrane elements, silicone tubes, water collection pipes, slot plates, etc., and the aeration box covers aeration tubes and gas collection boxes. The aeration system transports the air from the blower into the air-water mixing space through the aeration pipe. It reaches the membrane sheet after uniform mixing to ensure that each flat membrane gets the gas flushing force uniformly. Slotted plates are used on both sides of the membrane bracket to make the space distance of each flat membrane consistent, and to ensure that the membrane element can be taken out as a single piece. It adopts a silicone rubber hose to connect the membrane element outlet to the water collection nozzle of the water collection pipe to form the effluent system.
Product Features
Adaptable to Higher Activated Sludge Concentration
EcoLan flat membrane is fixed in the membrane box by the guide plate, rubber pressure strip, and cover plate. The optimized design can adjust the spacing between membrane elements, which ensures the smooth formation of spin reflux of activated sludge without clogging. Therefore, compared with hollow fiber membrane, it can adapt to higher activated sludge concentration (MLSS in 8000~18000mg/L).
More Convenient Cleaning Method and Longer Cleaning Cycle
EcoLan flat membrane modules can control the aeration rate of the aeration system at the bottom of the module to provide effective hydraulic scouring of the membrane, which prevents the contamination of the membrane surface in the operation process. Therefore, during long-term use, offline cleaning is not required. Instead, In-situ online chemical cleaning is all needed to restore performance, i.e., by backfilling the membrane with prepared chemicals from the suction port and soaking it for a while. Compared with hollow fiber membrane modules, the cleaning cycle of flat plate membrane modules is longer, more than three months on average, and even no cleaning is required if the operating pressure is always in a relatively low state.
Easy Membrane Replacement Process
The unique box-type design of the EcoLan flat sheet membrane module allows for a single membrane sheet replacement without replacing the holder when the membrane is damaged. In contrast, if the hollow fiber membrane breaks and hardens to reach a specific number, the entire module has to be scrapped, and the whole membrane module has to be replaced.
Simplified Process, No Backwashing
EcoLan flat membrane modules do not require backwashing during operation, making the process simpler and the membrane structure more reasonable, which does not lead to excessive adhesion of contaminants and does not have the problem of hardening.
Stacked Arrangement, Energy Saving, and High Efficiency
The cassette-type flat membrane modules are placed in multiple layers, which significantly reduces the projection area of the MBR membrane system, thus significantly reducing the operating aeration and making the membrane system less expensive.
